Clamping large sheet of smooth material
Position plates perfectly
If you want to position plates with a smooth surface perfectly, you require professional tools. This is exactly what BESSEY can offer with its PS130 and PS55 seaming tools: aids that support craftspeople, and provide a clean and fast work result.
- For clamping and positioning components with a smooth surface, such as ceramic, granite, Corian®, plastic, sheet metal and glass, which require low clamping forces (up to 260 N)
- Clamping levers on the suction cups ensure rapid handling
- Cam lever to compensate for differing heights at the joint
Technical data
- Clamping width - 10-55 mm
- Clamp width - 147 mm
- Clamp length - 361 mm
- Weight - 1,55 kg
Gentle suction cups
Easy to use. Engage the handle on the suction cups to generate a vacuum, and the seaming tool adheres automatically to the sheet.
Practical cam levers
The two levers on the guide bars can be used to easily control the height differences which can occur when pulling together the sheets.
Sturdy construction
Cold-drawn, electro-galvanised guide rods in sturdy aluminium profiles prevent the seaming tool from bending open during the clamping process and hold the seaming tool on one level. This guarantees a precise finished result.
Ergonomic wooden handle
With the perfect handle, you can achieve up to 260 N of clamping force in the horizontal plane. This need is met by the ergonomic wooden handle and the burr-free, rivetted spindle with acme thread.
The small PS55 seaming tool
The PS55 seaming tool, with a clamping width of between 10 and 55 mm is ideally suitable for clamping and positioning components with a smooth surface, which requires low clamping forces. Engage the handle on the suction discs to generate a vacuum, and the seaming tool adheres automatically. Thanks to the precisely formed spindle, with an ergonomic wooden handle, a clamping force of up to 260 N is achieved in a horizontal direction. Cold-drawn, electro-galvanised guide rods in sturdy aluminium profiles prevent the seaming tool from bending open during the clamping process. This holds the seaming tool on one level and guarantees a precise finished result. Height differences that can occur when pulling together the sheets can be easily corrected with the cam levers on the guide rods. The PS55 seaming tool has a size of "only" 147 x 361 mm and it weighs just 1,55 kg.
