Full-surface clamping without extension pieces
Spacers and extension pieces are history thanks to the BESSEY U-clamps, which can be used to fix steel, metal or wood constructions quickly and safely over the full surface without having to fill the gaps. The U-shaped clamps were developed based on the tried and tested all-steel, lever and high performance clamps. The clamps are available with a tommy bar or a lever handle as required.
The BESSEY U-clamps finally make extension pieces redundant: The U-shaped, fixed arms ensure that cumbersome spacers are no longer required to compensate for the height difference between the profile base and the profile bar when clamping profiles. The fixed arms on the U-clamps are equipped with an increased pressure plate and therefore enable profiles and bars to overlap by up to 150 mm. The benefits for the user are simple, safe handling and time-saving, flexible applications due to workpieces overlapping.
U-shaped lever clamps are ideal time-saving aids if multiple clamps have to be set and released again. Thanks to the fine ratchet mechanism on the powerful lever arm, high clamping forces of up to 3,800 N can be achieved effortlessly in conjunction with the toothed sliding arm and the release pin. However, the clamping force can also be adjusted according to the workpiece's requirements. The release pin prevents the clamp releasing of its own accord if there are vibrations. The user can release the clamp at lightning speed by pressing this. The tiltable steel pressure cap is case-hardened and galvanised. The time-saving GUH lever clamp is available with a clamping width of 250 mm and a throat depth of 120 mm.
