- Variable speed – dial allows the rpm of the grinder to be controlled at a range between 3,000 and 8,500rpm
- Soft start – slowly increases speed to full rpm for safe and smooth operation
- Anti-restart – the tool will not start if the switch is engaged when a battery is installed. The switch must first return to the off position
- BL Brushless Motor – efficient energy production enabling lower heat production and increased work on a single charge
- Automatic torque drive – automatically adjusts speed and torque during operation for optimum performance
- Anti-kickback – turns the motor off if the rotation of the wheel is suddenly forced to stop preventing the tool from kicking backward
- AWS – Auto-Start Wireless System, allows the tool and compatible vacuum to run automatically while the switch trigger of the angle grinder is being pulled
